BLOOM PROPERTY STYLING FURNITURE HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS Bloom Property Styling (referred to as BPS) agrees to hire goods to The Hirer on the following terms and conditions: 1. The Furniture Hire Period: The hiring of goods under this agreement shall be deemed to commence on the date the goods are delivered to the property and continue for the term specified in the contract “Furniture Hire Period.” The Furniture Hire Period is for six consecutive weeks, which includes the delivery of furniture and set up. Should the Property sell unconditionally prior to the conclusion of the ‘furniture hire period’ BPS reserves the right to remove the furniture. 2. Payment of Furniture Hire: The Hirer is required to pay a 50% deposit to secure the booking. A refund of the deposit may be issued at BPS’s discretion. Should the job be cancelled without adequate notice a full refund will not be issued. The remaining 50% of payment is due two business days before furniture delivery date. 3. Furniture Hire Installation: Installation of furniture will only commence after full payment has been received. Delivery fee, set up, pack down and collection of furniture are all included in the price. For initial set up BPS requires a minimum of two days access to the property prior to photography or open house. The Hirer is responsible for arranging access to the property for the delivery & collection of the goods. If BPS for any reason cannot gain access to the property The Hirer will pay all additional costs incurred by BPS for the re-delivery or collection of the goods. 4. Furniture Hire Removal: Once the furniture hire period has concluded BPS will arrange with The Hirer or Estate Agent a suitable time to collect the goods from the property. Should the property sell prior to the expiry of the agreed hire period, BPS reserves the right to collect the goods. BPS requires access to the property for a minimum of two days to pack down and remove all goods. The Hirer will not remove the goods from the property without written consent from BPS. 5. Conditions of hire to apply after the agreed period of hire has concluded: If The Hirer wishes to extend the contract of furniture hire beyond the agreed date then The Hirer and BPS will negotiate a weekly rate for the furniture hire. This arrangement can only be entered into with sufficient notice to BPS and as long as the goods have not been booked prior. 6. BPS does not offer a discount or refund should contract end earlier than the agreed date. If the contract is terminated early The Hirer is liable for full payment of the contract sum. 7. Lost, stolen or destroyed goods: The Hirer agrees to take all reasonable care for the security of the goods whilst in their possession. BPS provides insurance for both contents and property damage. In the unfortunate event that the goods are damaged The Hirer will be liable to pay BPS’s insurance excess of $500. As such we ask that you please do not move the furniture. Furniture provided is for decorative purposes only and any damage that occurs through neglect or misuse will need to be replaced at the cost of the Hirer. 8. If the Hirer adds extra personal items to the staging post installation, the Hirer should remove these items before BPS collects hired goods. BPS is not responsible for returning and items collected when hired goods are removed by BPS. The Hirer can arrange a suitable time to collect from BPS warehouse. 9. If BPS understands the property is to be vacant for the entire duration of the hire. Should The Hirer not adhere to this BPS has the right to remove all goods at anytime. 10. The Hirer must provide BPS with the details of the real estate agent assigned to the property. BPS must have permission to pick up the keys from the real estate agent at anytime to access the property. 11. BPS requires the use of picture hanging hooks that pass through the plaster surface. BPS suggests The Hirer leaves these hooks in place at the time of settlement. BPS will not remove these hooks or patch these small holes. 12. BPS provides every effort to avoid causing any damage to the property but some minor wear and tear may occur in order to move furniture in and out of the property. 13. BPS cannot promise the hire of particular items of furniture. The goods given will be items that best suit the property and will be based on what is available during the period of hire. 14. BPS reserves the right to take photographs and videography of the Property and of the Work. BPS reserves the right to use the photographs for any purpose, including but not limited to promotional, training and any other purposes.
